- Gina CollinsThis was my first time to see the Grand Canyon and ride in a Helicopter. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and informative of what we were seeing. The flight was smooth and we had a wonderful time. Well worth the money and I highly recommend this company! We were able to purchase a digital photo frame after we got back that also had a video on it. This is something everyone should do at least once in their life!read moreread less
- Noel LooneyAfter another local tour company was very rude about my weight I looked into other options and found these beautiful people.
Empathetic and very accommodating about my size (415 pounds) and extremely professional across the board.
Bucket list experience in an efficient time frame. (Left and returned to hotel in about 3 hours)
HIGHLY RECOMMEND, TY GCFLIGHT!read moreread lessAnneliese CannaI’m extremely satisfied with not only our helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon but my overall experience with GC Flight. I made a bit of a mistake in my booking of this- I accidentally scheduled our flight a little too close to a timeshare meeting my husband and I had to attend. I called the company to see if there was anything they could do such as scheduling us to a later flight time but unfortunately they could not, which is fine, but they assisted me the best they could which I’m entirely grateful for. The manager gave me a call to work out a timeline in which if we could stick to it we would arrive in time. Thankfully we managed to make it all work. Our pilot was Kyley- she was so fun and did her job well! The winds were fairly strong that day but we would have never known! I would HIGHLY recommend GC Flight!read moreread lessDune JohnsonThe trip was a bucket list for me, but my wife just came along because she wanted to let me have my experience. However, she now raves about how the experience changed her life!!! When we landed in the Valley of Fire and could see millions-of-years-old ocean fossils under our feet, it was an amazing experience of this human adventure on this amazing planet! The whole thing was an amazing experience. Definitely worth the money. The trip was a bucket list for me, but my wife just came along because she wanted to let me have my experience. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. We were picked-up from our hotel at the designated time and taken to Boulder City Airstrip. On arrival we were given complimentary water, checked-in and given a safety briefing. About 20 mins after arrival we were introduced to our pilot. I can't remember his name but he was amazing and very friendly and informative. He eased any nerves we had about flying in a helicopter. The tour itself was great, it did what it said on the tin and we got to see all the sites. When we landed we had almost 2 hours to tour the 3 different viewing points on the West Side of the canyon. The time allotted at the Canyon was perfect, not too long nor too short. On return we flew over native American heartlands and thus is where the pilot was so informative. To finish, I would highly recommend GC Flights for your Grand Canyon experience.Oliver & Lorrsineread moreread less
- Windy KenerMy husband and I booked this to celebrate our 24yr wedding anniversary. Would highly recommend this company. Very organized, very structured. Our Pilot Cameron had the best personality. He incorporated his own playlist with music, which made it even more magical. His skills and knowledge made it truly an experience to remember. He even had us rotate seats each trip to allow a different viewing experience! You won't regret this amazing experience 10 outta 10 recommend!read moreread less

West Rim vs. South Rim: Which Should You Choose?
Both offer incredible Grand Canyon views, but the experience is very different. The best choice depends on whether you want a helicopter landing experience or the classic National Park scenery.
Choose the West Rim if you want:
- A helicopter flight from Las Vegas
- Canyon floor or rim landing options
- The Grand Canyon Skywalk
- A shorter overall trip from Las Vegas
Choose the South Rim if you want:
- The classic Grand Canyon National Park experience
- Wider, deeper canyon viewpoints
- More time focused on sightseeing at the rim
- A full-day Grand Canyon experience
For most Las Vegas visitors looking for a helicopter experience, the West Rim offers the greatest variety of flight and landing options.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question before you book? Start here, then see the full FAQ page.
How long do Las Vegas helicopter tours typically last?
Tour length varies by experience. Las Vegas Strip flights can be as short as 10–15 minutes in the air, while Grand Canyon landing and combination tours can take several hours. Check each tour page for the total experience time.
Can we bring a camera or smartphone on the helicopter tour?
Phones and cameras are permitted on most flights. Phones should be placed in airplane mode while flying, and some attractions have separate rules—for example, personal cameras are not permitted on the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
How far in advance should I book a Las Vegas helicopter tour?
Book as early as possible for Grand Canyon landing tours, weekends and busy travel periods. Same-day and last-minute seats may be available, but popular departure times can sell out.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our tour?
Safety comes first. If the operating tour provider determines that conditions are unsafe for flying, you will be given the available options, which may include rescheduling or a refund depending on the circumstances and tour.
