Well, one guy’s not taking this lack of technological vigor sitting down. Yves Rossy jet packed across the Grand Canyon and lived to tell of his epic flight. Rossy was airborne for over eight minutes and flew 2,000 feet above the rim of the Canyon. That’s 666 meters, or six and a half football fields above the rim of the Canyon.
