Twilight Kayak Adventure

Enjoy a special night under the stars with a guided Twilight Kayak Tour. This adventure begins at Willow Beach with plenty of light left to enjoy the beautiful views of the Black Canyon. After a 2-mile paddle, you will see the sun set from the shore of the Colorado River while roasting Smores by campfire. On your way back to Willow Beach, you will experience the peace and tranquility of the amazing Grand Canyon with stars shining above. It really is an amazing experience!

Duration:

Tour Duration: Approximately 6-7 hours (with pick-up and drop-off)
Kayak Duration: 4 hours on water, 4 miles distance (1 hour on water is roasting Smore’s by campfire)
Departure Time: Tour will depart at 6pm or 7pm depending on time of year
Schedule: Tours are scheduled for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights

Adventure Includes:

Round-trip Transportation from the Las Vegas Strip in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter.
Guests are picked up from their hotel approximately 1.5-2 hours PRIOR to tour time.
Park permits are included EXCEPT if the customer chooses to self-drive to Willow Beach Marina. The customer must then pay for their own vehicle to enter the National Park.
All necessary kayaking equipment, such as kayak, paddles, and personal flotation device.
Roasting Smores by campfire, bottled water, and snacks are included.

Important Information:

Athletic Ability: Moderate
Tandem kayaks are recommended for ALL guests. The Dam releases at night and tandem kayaks provide more stability when paddling.
This tour is recommended for children 14 years and older. Children 14-15 years old must pair with an adult in a tandem kayak.
Closed toe shoes or sneakers you do not mind getting wet are recommended. Dress according to the weather.
You can store personal belongings in your kayak hatches; however, they may get wet. It is recommended to use some type of waterproof protection.
