Half Day Kayak Adventure

This 4-mile kayak adventure begins at Willow Beach where you will meet your guide for the day and get fitted into your kayak. As you paddle the Colorado River upstream into Black Canyon you may spot Desert Big Horn Sheep and Bald Eagles! Along the way, you will stop at a historical overlook where your guide will explain the history of the river and provide you with complimentary snacks. This area also provides beautiful views of the Colorado River so have your camera ready! Before heading back to Willow Beach, you will experience the beautiful green water of Emerald Cave.

Duration:

Tour Duration: Approximately 5-6 hours (with pick-up and drop-off)
Kayak Duration: 3 hours on water, 4 miles distance

Adventure Includes:

Round-trip Transportation from the Las Vegas Strip in a comfortable Mercedes Sprinter. Guests are picked up from their hotel approximately 1.5-2 hours PRIOR to tour time.
Park permits are included EXCEPT if the customer chooses to self-drive to Willow Beach Marina. The customer must then pay for their own vehicle to enter the National Park.
All necessary kayaking equipment, such as kayak, paddles, and personal flotation device.
Complimentary bottled water and snacks are provided.

Important Information:

Athletic Ability: Easy to Moderate
This tour is recommended for children 8 years and older. Children 8-13 years old must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult for safety.
Closed toe shoes or sneakers you do not mind getting wet are recommended.
Dress according to the weather. During warmer months, you will have the opportunity to swim.
It is recommended to wear a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
You can store personal belongings in your kayak hatches; however, they may get wet. It is recommended to use some type of waterproof protection.
