This tour is great for all ages. We launch near the base of Hoover Dam and point out interesting and unique aspects of the area. From there, we meander gently down river... (occasionally splashing and getting wet!) At a leisurely pace stopping at all the beautiful sites... Waterfalls, natural springs, and wonderful geological formations are just some of the things we see! Often, we see wildlife on the river...(that's other than what's on the raft!). Blue Heron, Osprey and other birds of prey, as well as coyotes and, of course, the ever popular Bighorn Sheep. There are lots of fish in the river, but, NO, you can't fish from the raft. We stop for lunch on the river at one of the many beautiful beaches, allowing for swimming and splashing in the river. We are afforded close-up views of the tackle and equipment used by the early explorers of the Colorado River.
 

After spending 3 hours on the river, seeing spectacular natural beauty, enjoying the beautiful Southwest sunshine... seeing natural desert plants and animals... the trip ends at Willow Beach Resort where you board buses and return to your point of origination.

White Water Rafting Experience

Rafting the Grand Canyon's Colorado River is rated as the top adventure tour in America. Your excursion begins with a scenic flight from Las Vegas to the homeland of the Hualapai Nation. Meet your expert Hualapai Indian River Runner guide and board your 8-person motorized raft. Experience the thrill and fun of several class 3 and 4 rapids, a nature hike with a refreshing lunch is served as you witness the unfolding drama of the canyon's landscape. Arrive in time to meet your helicopter pilot. From the banks of the Colorado River, you will ascend the canyon cliffs, towering 4,000 feet to land at Grand Canyon West Airport for your return airplane flight to Las Vegas. This is the only one-day white water experience of the Grand Canyon available operating from April 1st through September 30th. All participants must be at least 8 years old.

Tour Itinerary:

•  4:45 AM - Approximate hotel pickup

•  6:00 AM - Depart Las Vegas Airport to Peach Springs

• 7:45 AM - Arrive Peach Springs and transfer from the airport to the lodge

• 8:00 AM - Transfer from lodge to the Colorado River for white water rafting experience

• 9:00 AM - Begin white water river rafting experience, lunch and nature hike included

• 4:30 PM - Depart Grand Canyon West for Las Vegas by plane

• 5:30 PM - Arrive Las Vegas, transfer to hotel

• 6:00 PM - Approximate arrival to hotel in time to have dinner and to see a show
